When you are moving Long distance or Internationally, you’ve probably asked yourself, “How should I pack my household items?” It may seem slight, but it’s a major factor of moving especially if you’re packing yourself.
Based on our 25 years as an international moving specialist, we’ve created an all-inclusive list of packing household goods to help you with any move, International or long distance.
Following are some of the basic materials one should consider to use for household packing:
Use a 5 ply corrugated or PVC boxes to pack the fragile items
bottom of the corrugated box need additional tape to prevent opening when lifted
bubble wrap all fragile items individually it’s better than using packing paper
Plan on using lot of strong packaging tapes to protect the corrugated boxes
labels and markers to clearly identify the content being places in various boxes
If the boxes are not full either fill it with blank papers or cutdown the size
All the household goods are different in make, shape and material, which need to be handled in different ways to ensure they are secured, easily movable.
Estimating the household goods, volume, weight and shape also helps ease out the entire process. It’s a good practice to get professional movers help from our experts in your city.
