When you have Lesser Volume of Moving

If you have lesser volume it will be better to get a quote on the groupage shipment, our participants offer both LCL moving and groupage moving (both are sharing a container with others. Which could save you a lot of money since the moving cost will be shared by the partakers of the moving service. However Groupage will be an all inclusive cost, where LCL will have all the destination charges will be on consignee’s account, normally destination charges like Delivery order, DTHC and handling charges will be on a higher side)

20’ Container

But if your shipment is just enough for a smallest container or less than 28 CBM, then it's better to go for a 20’container, which will be dedicated only for your move. In a 20’ container destination charges could be either included or excluded, it is better to learn from MOving company)

40’ & 40’ HC Container for higher volume

If your household goods are more than 30 CBM or if you are moving with a car then you can plan a 40’ container which can carry up to 55 CBM. in High cube container you can take up to 65 cubic meter goods. Just like any container destination charges could be either included or excluded, it is better to learn from Moving company)

Documentation

Documentation include, Packing list, Export declaration, Bill of lading and the certificate of origin (Certificate of origin is not needed for most countries) all the original documents needed at the destination. If you are traveling before the vessel sails, either the documents can be couriered to your new address or the mover could surrender the original bill of lading and send an express release to the destination office of the shipping line

Transit Time

Transit time can be know from the liner, however the moving company must give you the ETD and ETA. also you may be able to track your container online with the container number or the BL number.

Packing & Wrapping

All Crystals, Glasses and crockery need to be bubble wrapped before packing into a corrugated box. All cutleries and kitchen utensils need to be packed well and labeled or marked at the time of packing.
Furniture parts and fixers need to be wrapped with polythene sheets and corrugated sheets to protect from any harm. The fixers need to be marked well. If you lose or misplace any of the custom made part of a furniture you may not get in the new place which will make that furniture no use. So make sure all items are marked well by the movers
Frames and paintings are one of the delicate items which need to be bubble wrapped and packed with form sheets before wrapping with a corrugated sheet or box.

Shipping & Handling

Our Agents will schedule the nearest date of shipping from the port of loading and all the relevant documentations shall be executed in due course. All the outbound handling shall be the responsibility of the Moving company. Which shall be notified before the packing and loading date.

Clearing and delivery

The ETA will be declared by the vessel operator at the time of booking and the destination agent will organize a pre clearance or inspection as per the port authority and customs regulation at the port of arrival and prepare the import documentation.
Once the inspection and paper works are over the agent will transport the goods to your given address and deliver (only if it’s a door to door service)

Unpacking, Fixing and Debris removal

After offloading the shipment our destination agent will plan the unpacking of all your major furniture and simple fixing after fixing the furniture and appliances they will also remove the debris.
All the destination services must be discussed with the mover at the 1st outlet itself and the quote must show the service in the inclusions.
